A lifelong tinkerer and creator, Paulo got hooked on 3D graphics back in the Amiga days and never looked back. Since 2001, he’s been deep into the world of 3D printing, exploring its endless possibilities.

As the co-inventor of the iconic 3DBenchy and the creator of STEMFIE, an open-source 3D-printable construction set, Paulo is on a mission to make learning through making accessible to kids everywhere. His passion for open-source technology fuels his work, ensuring that knowledge and creativity are shared, not locked away.

When he’s not designing in FreeCAD or Blender, you’ll find him dreaming up new ways to empower makers, educators, and young minds to build, explore, and play—one 3D-printed part at a time.
