Aleksander Sadowski

Revolutionizing Design in Mechanical Engineering

Aleksander Sadowski is driving the integration of Open-Source Engineering Software in the Industry, especially FreeCAD. With his company, that he founded from his children's room in 2020, he is training engineers at machine manufacturers, integrating FreeCAD into existing workflows and developing custom tools surrounding FreeCAD to support the needs of these manufacturers. By switching to Open-Source Software, manufacturers lower their licensing costs and become independent from software vendors. This is especially important right now, as we are facing severe economic challenges worldwide.

As of late 2024, Aleksander Sadowski started working with Altair (now part of Siemens) to develop and establish Open-Source Software for crash simulations, which for the first time ever enables engineers and engineering students to tap into these advanced simulations. Aleksander ist the author of the book "FreeCAD Beginner's Starter Kit" bringing his training knowledge to the masses and the inventor of a safety screw for machine tools.
